Restaurant and Wine Bar

At The Greek all meals are prepared in an authentic, healthy way. Only natural and organic ingredients like garlic, mint, Greek yoghurt, coriander, and olive oil are used in the preparation of food. All food is prepared and cooked in the Greek traditional manner - in a clay oven and over open grills to enhance the earthy natural flavours!  

The Pizzas are prepared with a classic Neapolitan thin crust. If you enjoy seafood, the line fish is always fresh, the calamari caught in local waters, and the prawns voted the best in the country! You will also find chicken, lamb, beef, and vegetarian dishes on the menu.

Traditional dishes such as Dolmades and Mousaka are freshly prepared on the premises. An all time favourite still remains the Souvlaki wraps. The Meze platters are enjoyed with a bottle of wine accompanied by the right company; this could keep you at The Greek all evening creating memories and laughter taking home The Greek experience!

Complete your meal with one of the homemade dessert delicacies - Baklava, Ghalaktoboureko, Halva ice cream, Korambiethes, dessert wine, or a liqueur!

    A couple of weeks ago I was in Jeffreys Bay with my family and we decided to go restaurant hunting. As we spotted the Greek, I could only think of one thing “Get him to the Greek”. I said to myself that I got myself to the Greek, I would have just as much bragging rights as Russel Brand. The restaurant was magnificently set out and gives you the sense of being in a Mediterranean country.

    How do you know if a Greek restaurant in Jeffreys Bay (or any other place in the world outside Greece) is really good? Well, first if you walk past the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon at 3:30pm, and it is completely filled with patrons ---- while other nearby restaurants are nearly empty and waiting for dinner guests in a couple hours.Second, if you walk into the restaurant and hear people speaking Greek at several tables.
